Prime Video Acquires Baywatch Reboot Across 12 Regions
Amazon Prime Video has picked up the Baywatch reboot across 12 regions: Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Canada, Latin America and India. Fremantle brokered the deal, while Sky holds UK and Ireland rights. Produced by Fremantle and Fox Entertainment, the series will be distributed internationally by Fremantle. Michela Di Mondo, Fremantle's EVP for international distribution, called the pact a landmark moment for the show's launch.
Stephen Amell Leads New Baywatch Cast With Original Stars Returning
Stephen Amell, known for Arrow, takes the lead as Hobie Buchannon, with Jessica Belkin, Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Noah Beck and Brooks Nader rounding out the main cast. McG will direct the premiere episode; he also executive produces with Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. Fox Entertainment Global holds domestic distribution rights, while Fremantle manages international sales across the territories where Prime Video has picked up the series.

Josh Hartnett's action film 'Fight or Flight' is now streaming on Prime Video. The movie stars Hartnett as Lucas Reyes, a disgraced Secret Service agent tasked with protecting a hacker on a Bangkok-to-San Francisco flight that's packed with assassins. Directed by James Madigan in his feature debut, the script by Brooks McLaren and D.J. Cotrona was on the 2020 Black List. Hartnett performed his own stunts for the role.
